A message to Baker County

The BCRCC official website has been developed to provide access to information so that Baker County residents can easily attain a network of sites containing pertinent facts and statements on political issues important to Eastern Oregon. It is also important for viewers to have the ability to discern and establish opinions without being solely led by statements of individuals who populate social media. In other words, the BCRCC is inclusive of conservative opinions, considerate and not divisive when discussing topics (or individuals) who support or do not support another's stance, and committed to electing individuals who have the broad based experience (as well as capacity) to accomplish the tasks without bias or special interest pressure.

The original dragnet TV production had a standard byline. It was "Just the facts ma'am". This is an important consideration as Oregonians complete the November 3, 2026 general election selections of Oregon Governor, US Representative, US Senate, and County Commissioner in Baker County. Many past candidates have had good intentions regardless of party affiliation but which of those have reflected the traditional values of the electorate, the integrity to support common sense human values, and positive, quantifiable outcomes that benefit all not just the few??

Oregon has not performed on a fiscal, educational, or broad job creation basis for many years and current statistics prove these points on multiple levels.

We need a new course, a return to some industries that historically created fiscal stability, and the election of leadership to calm the divisiveness so prevalent in our current society. Loud voices, anger, vulgarity, accusations, and deception have created turmoil in Oregon for far too long. Those who truly embrace Oregon history, love of family tradition, and belief in a brighter future for our State must rise up and lead the long needed revival of Oregon.
