About the role
What a PCP actually does
- • is a known local contact for Republicans in their own precinct;
- • attends county central committee meetings and votes on committee business;
- • helps with the practical work — turnout, events, getting information to neighbours.
There are two routes into a seat: elected at the primary election, or appointed by the county committee afterward to fill one that went unfilled. Of the 61 seats the Clerk lists for Baker County, 5 were declared vacant.
