He supports open public forests, revised forest management to reduce fire, personal water rights, and the production of Eastern Oregon minerals. Kody has actively attended for years many county meetings in regard to forest fire resource damage and loss of personal property, the Eastern Oregon Mining Association, and other meetings to discuss local concerns.
